Coterie- February 2011 -Lezli Salz Bradley, owner of Willow St. loves taking her employees into the NYC Coterie Shows. It’s an amazing experience and the fashion is stacked from the ceiling to the floor. We always learn so much from the designers about their lines before it’s featured in stores. The vibe is incredible! Everyone looks amazing, wearing top fashion outfits and accessories. It’s interesting to see how each vendor will interpret the trends of the season so differently. Going to these shows really helps the Willow St. staff with our everyday customer service and customer needs. Our job as “style advisors” is to do our research and educate ourselves about each season, and upcoming trends to help you translate it in your own closet. Some of the biggest contemporary designers go to these shows to show their line. Lezli always buys two seasons ahead of time for the store/online, and her staff also starts buying personals too. YIKES!! It gets dangerous as we always want to look our best and be up on all the latest trends. This past show we got to see all the new trends for Fall. Let me just say- be very, very excited friends. Fall is lookin’ pretty darn good. Trends to watch : Mod prints, 70′s Color Block, LBD’s (Little Black Dresses), Sheer Blouses, to name a few. As always, lovely to see Billy Curtis (Billy Blues), Yoana Baraschi, Chan Luu and many other friends.
