“I want to embrace this color trend, but in a conservative/stay in the lines kinda way.  Nothing too bright, too tight and it must be nice & light for Summer!”

Colored pants are everywhere, no getting away from them.  People like Jessica Alba are representing the ‘colored khaki’.  Wait for it.. wait for it…

Have I gottttt affordable newsssss for you!!!!!!!  Savvy high-meets-low shopping =  mixing drastic price points to create a fashionable outfit.  The industry is referring to this as ‘The Extreme cross-shopper’.  Would you take your Prada with a side of G1?  Certainly makes creating a look more doable.  Splurge on the shoe or the bag, and save on the short or tee.  Are you a cross-shopper?  MasterCard seems to think so.

Vacationing in Nantucket, heading to the golf course or visiting your child at college?  ‘G’1 hits the spot!

We’re all a slave to fashion in some shape or form.  With that being said let’s focus on the task at hand – Color My World But Stay In The Lines.

G1 fits right into the ‘real people’ category – short, tall, thin, curvy..  Wearing color isn’t only intended for the slim, long-limbed women but for curvy as well.  G1 makes a few different styled shorts that look great on just about any’body’.

The Walking Short is clean, a bit longer with an optional roll cuff.  I’m sold on the faded orange and soft blue toned palettes G1 designed for this delivery.

She’s got Legs – I love the new, never featured in Willow Street, (drum roll please)..  the 3779 Short Short.  Feels like butter!  Hey Shortie, do your kids constantly grime and slime on you?  Don’t fret, these bundles of joy are all machine washable.  Can I get an Amen and some Downy!?

Ahhhhh the Classic Long Short or as you may know them as the 371 short.  Perfect for golfing!!

Tip of the day: Yes G1 is comfy/casual/affordable, but just because you’re comfortable doesn’t mean you can shy on the accessories.  Always, ALWAYS add a belt (maybe that’s your splurge) and a necklace…

Remember fashion represents freedom.  Run wild and free, maybe this time outside of the lines..

Beer and Burgers

Okay, let’s not get crazy.

It’s good to splurge once in a while, and if you’re not going to splurge at a summer bbq, splurge on your wardrobe.  Whenever you have the ‘urge to splurge’ be sure to chase it with a ‘style steal‘!

‘I never feel guilty when I indulge on some ‘Just In’!  Seconds please, and I’ll take a side of accessories‘.

retail therapy

We all need it!  Nothing that a cosmo and some shopping can’t fix!  “I like my money right where I can see it, hanging in my closet.” – Carrie Bradshaw

We’ve all been there, done that.  Shopping makes a women feel better, always.  With the primary purpose of improving your mood, items purchased during periods of ‘Retail Therapy’ are ‘comfort buys’.  willowst.com will be your therapy.  Whatever your little heart desires;  Sexy undies, a comfy transitional sweater or a funky dinner ring.  Find things that make you feel good  “It’s fun to be a woman. It’s fun to flirt and wear makeup and have boobs.” –Eva Mendes

What’s your fashion fix?

Gina said: ” I shop for shoes when I’m down and out.  Somehow it satisfies my urge to splurge.  That’s also how I get my cardio in, shopping.  Shoe shopping is a work out in itself.”

Janice said: “When I need a little pick me up I’ll head to a boutique for some ‘Retail Therapy’.  I need immediate gratification and I have to wear whatever I buy that same day.”

Kristen said: “I’m an impulse shopper when I feel down in the dumps.  I sit on the computer for hours and if I like it, I buy it.  I don’t feel bad about it either.  I just keep telling myself I worked hard this week and deserve presents.”

Cheers to fashion! ..and to cosmos
