The Skinny ‘Angel’ Ankle Jean from DL1961. This is Willow St.’s second year carrying DL1961. We are so happy we found them – they fit all body types. They offer a ton of styles, but our favorite is by far, ‘the Angel’ jean… they’re heavenly! This line is an employee favorite for sure. They run true to size and really hold their shape. Meeting up with Billy at the NYC shows is always a pleasure. There is no fit in the industry like Billy Blues! It’s simply a ‘must have’ pant! Starting out in 1998, Billy Curtis has always been the ‘King of the Cargo’. He’s based out of L.A. and everything is produced in the U.S.A. When I got to talking with Billy, I asked him to toss around some words that best describe his line: His answer - ”ageless, detailed, quality, signature fit.” Agreeeed!!! Billy’s fall inspiration is lace, cargo’s and anything green. A formula to success. He was recently traveling throughout Paris where these trends were booming. His new wife, Renee Thomas has been designing for him since the beginning. She is the method behind Billy’s madness. ”There’s always a women behind a man’s success” Billy said. Her extraordinary attention to detail makes every button, every stitch and every zipper ‘one of a kind’. For the past decade our clientele has been obsessed with Billy Blues, both online and in our Summit store. A specific pant our customer goes crazy over is the airplane pant.
