Gaga’s bold wardrobe statements leave a lot of people speechless. Call me crazy but I dig her kooky, risky fashion style. She keeps me intrigued and is always at the top of my daily google search list! “What is Gaga wearing now”? She never disappoints – that’s for sure. Do we have Gaga to thank for bringing back outrageous, fearless runways? Couture designers like Valentino, Jean Paul Gaultier and Armani have added a little bit of crazy to her wardrobe and to their runways. I think these designers took ‘thinking outside of the box’ to a whole new level. So artistic and inspiring! Her album ‘The Fame Monster’ really brings a new tune to the pop/glam rock world that I think many people appreciate. I love how she refers to her fans as her ‘little monsters’. She is great with interacting and making it all about her fans. She even tweets. willowst.com always makes it all about their customers and we tweet as well. I guess we do have something in common with Gaga besides a love for fashion. Your homework this weekend (‘little fashionistas’) is to show some pizzazz and experiment with your inner Gaga.. It’s what makes our business fun!’ Her favorite restaurant is Gramercy Tavern! ‘In store designer, tough one, so many, probably J Brand and Ella Moss, do I have to pick?!’ Loves a pump! ‘You know, the ones with the red bottom!’ Her summer drink would be Ketel One vodka on the rocks with a twist! She loves Led Zeppelin! ‘Ray LaMontagne if I want to get in the mood!’ ‘I’m reading Sarah’s Key and I read the NY Times kindle to kindle every day.’ Lezli has been in the Fashion world forever! ‘My father owned 5 clothing stores in Denver, I may have been born in a dressing room. You never know, it’s possible!’ ‘What do I love about Willow St.? I love when a customer leaves feeling so great about herself, comes back and tells me she was the foxiest one at the party! I really love what I do, I really love my employees too. They always give me a reason to smile!’ Lezli just got back from Paris with her husband and their friends. ‘On every European trip I take, I notice more and more how put together Europeans are. Blazers never go out of style. I see skinny jeans everywhere with a sneak of wide legs coming back. Women seem to either be wearing a heel or a converse sneaker. If they have a converse on its always with a blazer or a scarf. Always a touch of class. Paris women are always styled sexy, I love that!’ ‘When I buy for Willow St. I always try to get the most style for the best price. I like to have my store be well rounded covering not only the hottest designers but, items that I know will make my clients feel great. Customer service is always first. Finding designers that work on every body type is a challenge, but I want to have something to offer everyone. I try to buy pieces that cannot be found everywhere.
